"Come, Follow, Me" (Matt 4:19). With those three words, Jesus sums up the Christian life.
He expands on that a bit later in Matthew 11:28-30 when He says: (in the Message version)
""Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
Jesus also summarized the three major elements of the Christian life in John 15 as: Remaining connected to Him (some translations say "abiding" in Him); Loving each other; and Serving and Sharing the Good News with others in the world. While in actual practice those all overlap, you can find out more about how each one of those get expressed in our life together as a church family by clicking on the titles to the three sections below, or some of the sections in the drop down menu above.
